About Optiml

Optiml is fast-growing PropTech startup with a mission to revolutionize investment decisions for real estate. We spun out of ETH Zurich in fall 2022 and raised money from top-notch US & EU funds: Innovation Endeavors (San Francisco – fund of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt) and Planet A (Berlin). Since then, we have rolled out our product across DACH + UK and raised $6M in the last 18mo, now with the team being 20 Optimists. We have won major awards and have a vision to create a new software category of Real Estate Decision Intelligence. In short: although we’re only two years old, we’re at the stage where we need more entrepreneurial and talented people to join our team as we expand our footprint.

• Architect, ship and maintain features in React/Typescript, delivering top performance and responsiveness
• Come up with innovative solutions to solve our customers' problems.
• Imagine reactive interfaces for customers that leverage our data and models.
• Own the whole development lifecycle: planning, implementation & iteration
• Collaborate with peers on architecture, design and code reviews.

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of experience architecting modern and scalable high-quality frontend products
• Deep expertise in React/TypeScript and a strong grasp of state management, component architecture, and performance optimization
• Experience integrating backend APIs and working closely with design/product
• Ability to contribute individually and within a team
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
• Work permit for CH or EU
