Strategy & Operations Intern (Office of the CEO) (m/f/x)
Location: Berlin

Who You’ll Work For:
At Makersite, we're pioneering the future of sustainable product development and digital collaboration. As a leading platform for product lifecycle management (PLM), we empower companies to make smarter, more sustainable decisions across their entire supply chain. Our cutting-edge software enables teams to design, prototype, and manufacture with transparency, efficiency, and responsibility—reducing environmental impact while optimizing performance.
We're a fast-growing, innovative company that thrives on creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. If you're passionate about technology, sustainability, and creating meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you. Join us and be a part of shaping the future of manufacturing and product innovation.
Who we're looking for:
As part of our growing team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable product development. We’re looking for innovative, driven MBA Interns who are passionate about technology, AI, and sustainability to join us in building tools that enable companies to make smarter, more responsible decisions. In this role, you will work directly with our Chief of Staff and executive team to build scalable processes, drive data-centric decision-making, execute high-priority strategic initiatives, and pioneer the use of internal AI workflows. If you are passionate about sustainability, thrive in ambiguity, and want hands-on experience scaling a technology company—particularly through the application of generative AI—we want to hear from you.
The role:
Design & Implement AI & Agentic Workflows
Act as an internal champion for AI adoption, identifying high-impact use cases across operations, sales, and product where AI can drive massive efficiency gains.
Design, build, and deploy agentic workflows and AI-driven automation to streamline repetitive tasks and scale the effectiveness of the Office of the CEO.
Partner with the Chief of Staff and technical teams to test, iterate, and integrate LLMs and AI tools into our standard operating procedures.
Build and Maintain Data Infrastructure
Support the development of real-time dashboards and KPI reporting for the CEO and leadership team.
Leverage SQL and analytical tools to extract, analyze, and present data that drives decision-making.
Identify gaps in current data systems and propose scalable solutions.
Drive SOP Documentation and Adoption
Assist in documenting standard operating procedures across key business functions.
Work closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure processes are clearly defined, accessible, and consistently followed.
Help identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
Support Strategic Execution & Enhance Office of the CEO Effectiveness
Provide analytical and operational support to increase the leverage and impact of the Office of the CEO.
Track progress of key strategic initiatives, coordinate across teams to gather updates, remove blockers, and maintain momentum.
Follow up on action items and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
Take ownership of high-priority ad hoc projects, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
Job requirements
Education: Currently pursuing (or recently completed) an MBA from a top-tier program.
Passion for AI & Automation: You have a deep, active interest in generative AI and agentic workflows. You actively experiment with tools to solve real-world problems and optimize processes.
Analytical Depth & Execution Speed: You balance competing workstreams and apply judgment to determine when deep analysis is required versus when rapid execution is sufficient.
High-Pace Adaptability: You adapt quickly to shifting priorities, work independently with limited direction, and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous, fast-moving situations.
Cross-Functional Engagement: You collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all departments, communicate persuasively without formal authority, and build strong relationships.
High Standards of Quality: You produce work that is accurate, thoughtful, and ready for senior leadership review, taking ownership of deliverables from day one.
What We Offer:
Competitive Salary – We reward your skills and experience with a compensation package that reflects your value.
30 Days Paid Time Off – Take the time you need to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Remote-First Flexibility – Work from anywhere in Germany, with the option to collaborate in person at our offices in Stuttgart, Berlin (role dependent).

Great Colleagues – Join a team that’s open, transparent, and international. We value inclusivity and foster a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
Work-Life Balance – As a remote-first company, we trust you to do your best work, your way. You have the flexibility to work when it suits you, ensuring a healthy balance between personal and professional life.
